Meet Our Cast!

Please say hello to our wonderful and talented cast:

Rachel Beck

Rachel Beck is thrilled to be back for her second show with SCP. She was last seen onstage as Ensemble-Etienne/Cagelle in La Cage aux Folles (SCP). Last summer, she worked with Redwood City Players as the Costume, Hair and Make-up Designer for Dogfight. Rachel is grateful for the support of her friends and family, and voice teacher Nicole Cooper. She would like to thank her parents, who inspired her love for music.

Jai Cha

This is Jai’s first musical performance debut in Sunnyvale, and his second in the Bay Area. Originally a Fresno native, he brings a vast arsenal of skill sets he learned and developed both on and offstage: making good use of his associate degrees in music and theatre. Previous credits include: The Drowsy Chaperone, Mulan and the Battle on Black Mountain, The Merry Widow, and The Pirates of Penzance. Although his current pursuits are in music production and sound design, he also pursues other forms of creative arts and entertainment.

Jacqueline Erickson

Jacqueline is humbled to be back on the stage at SCP. Previously seen in La Cage Aux Folles and Cabaret she feels very happy to continue in a place where she and her children feel welcome. It says a lot about the staff and community as a whole. Hope you enjoy the show!

Elizabeth Claire Lawrence

Elizabeth Claire Lawrence is returning to SCP after playing Cassie in 2014’s A Chorus Line. Among many others, favorite roles include Madame Giry in Stage 1’s The Phantom of the Opera, Elsa Schrader in FMT’s The Sound of Music (TBA finalist), and Fastrada in Pippin, and Ann Collier in 1940s Radio Hour at LASC.

Lex Lindquist

Lex Lindquist is currently a student at West Valley College studying theater among other various subjects. Lex enjoys reading, cinema, playfully messing with people (to an extent) and Disney. He has absolutely no limits and believes that everyone has the capacity for compassion should they choose to exercise it. After Jekyll and Hyde concludes, Lex shall return to his course of study in the arts.

Jessica Lubke

Jessica couldn’t be happier to be joining such a talented and generous cast. Jekyll & Hyde is her first show in seven years. She’s ecstatic to be returning to her love of theater. She would like to thank her friends and family for all their love and support.

Stacia Stuart

Stacia Stuart is thrilled to return to the SCP stage, having previously performed in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Snoopy! (Woodstock), West Side Story (Velma), and 2006’s Jekyll and Hyde. She last played Maggie in A Chorus Line with WVLO and numerous shows with SBMT including Kiss Me, Kate, 42nd Street and The Producers. Other favorite credits include TIM’s Spamalot and Into the Woods; Tessie Tura in Gypsy, and Luisa in The Fantasticks. She thanks her wonderful husband Andrew and year old twins Austin and Skylar for their support.

Lauren Sweet

Lauren is so happy to be back for her third show with SCP! She was last seen as one of three Narrators in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at West Valley College, where she currently studies musical theatre and vocal performance. Other favorite roles include Patty Simcox in Grease, Frenchie in Cabaret (both at SCP), and was also in Les Miserables (PVTC). A humongous thanks to her family and friends, and she hopes you have a bloody good time at Jekyll & Hyde!

Valerie Valenzuela

Valerie is delighted to be returning to the SCP stage! Valerie is an active performer and choreographer, and has worked with a number of Bay Area groups. She recently choreographed Gypsy for SVCT, A Midsummer Night’s Dream for SVS, SBMT’s production of 1776, and was the co-choreographer/co-director for WVLO’s Theatre Bay Area nominated production of In The Heights. On stage, she was most recently spotted in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (SVS), Opening Night (PCT), Cabaret (SCP), Jerry Finnegan’s Sister & 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (PCT), and A Chorus Line (SCP). She sends special thanks to her mama Irene & her lovely husband, Ronnie for their constant support.

Anthony Villanueva

Anthony is a recent aspiring theater actor, with his first musical role as Benjamin in West Valley College’s production of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. He performed the introduction solo at his High School Graduation Baccalaureate Ceremony, where he initially started Choral Training. Anthony has also had Chorus studies at De Anza college and was introduced into Jazz Dancing and Hip-Hop. He has done two student films, stage combat, improv, and vocal accents during his time at West Valley College. Apart from acting, he enjoys reading, psychology, political science, criminal administration, exercising, video gaming, organizing, and being an introvert.
